Description:  Parallel pliers are a must have for any serious jeweler. Normal pliers squeeze unevenly, causing crimps in the metal when one tries to grip something tightly. Parallel pliers on the other hand grip the same everywhere on the plier surface. Use these pliers for closing, bending wire, sheet metal, etc. without crimping, even when using more force. The wider flat nose on these make for nicer 90 degree bends and wire forming. The nylon jaws won't mar the metal you work on.
